The Ministry of Education Scholarship & Educational Loan Division was established in its current form in 2003 to encourage and support Bahamian students in their pursuit of college, university, vocational and graduate school education through financial aid advising and the granting of scholarships.
Our vision is to ensure that qualified Bahamian students are connected with transformative scholarship opportunities and resources that will enable the pursuit of tertiary level education, resulting in globally competitive citizens who are nation builders.
To provide information and resources to increase student awareness of the scholarships offered by the Ministry of Education, Scholarship & Educational Loan Division and to educate and mentor students through the scholarship application process.
